National Nurse Week
In conjunction with the American Nurses Association, Mercy Hospital is sponsoring National Nurses Week May 6-12, 2008. The purpose of National Nurses Week is to raise public awareness about the value of nursing, and to help educate the public regarding the vital roles nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.
As part of the celebration, Mercy Hospital would like to pay tribute to the dedicated nurses at the hospital who provide highly skilled, safe, and quality care.
Mercy Hospital is soliciting stories that pay tribute to these nurses and asks for input from the public with stories that involve nursing. Stories may be about nursing in general, or about a specific nurse. If there is a nurse who has touched your life in some way, we would like to hear from you.
