Respiratory Therapy

     The Respiratory Care Department cares for patients with asthma, croup, emphysema, and heart trouble. Various devices and methods are used depending upon the patient's condition. Therapists give lung exercises, medications, and monitor the oxygen. Blood gases and pulmonary function tests help in the diagnosis of the patient.
